A day of silence and singing in rural Waarbeke. Composer Stevie Wishart entices us to explore silence and resonance through the use our voices. The small church of Waarbeke is the beacon of our encounter, allowing us to drift in and out of the surrounding landscape.
Een dag van stilte en zingen in het landelijke Waarbeke. Componiste Stevie Wishart lokt ons aan de hand van onze stem mee op verkenning van stilte en weerklank. De kleine kerk van Waarbeke is het ankerpunt van onze ontmoeting maar we proeven ook van het omringende landschap.

We circle the grounds
following the track
of the savage Waarwolf
like oscillating drops of water
in a bright well
from dense connections
to vibrating silence
lost in time
and then we land
on a dewy bed of moss
and savour
the juice of life.
